Prime minister Narendra Modi's Mann ki baat was heard all over the state with excitement. In shimla the programme was heard by chief minister Jairam Thakur in Jakhu, BJP State incharge Avinash Rai Khanna in Badash in Kasumpti vidhan sabha constituency and BJP state president Suresh Kashyap in Tutu in shimla grameen Vidhan sabha constituency.There was a massive cleanliness drive that was started in shimla to mark the visit of prime minister Narendra Modi to Ridge on the 31 May. 

BJP State President Suresh Kashyap said that Mann ki baat is prime minister's most prestigious programme where he interacts with the general public of India.This programme is appreciated internationally.BJP hears Mann ki baat at booth level and we have made a proper mechanism to monitor the same.BJP State incharge Avinash Rai Khanna said Swachta is the fundamental princpal of our life that we need to follow. 

Swachta should be made a daily activity of our life.It is a pride for us that India has rapidly come up in Swachta ranking internationally.He said shimla has a wonderful system of garbage collection from door to door, this has helped shimla to remain clean and the government should be appreciated for running such a system keeping all intricacies in mind. We salute the swachta workers of municipal corporation involved in keeping shimla clean.

Prime Minister also gave a message of Swachta abhiyan in his Mann ki baat programme.He said that the invitation drive for Prime minister's rally is running successfully in himachal and people are excited to hear PM Narendra Modi. BJP State general secretary Trilok Jamwal also heard Mann ki baat Programme in Sanjouli.State convenor for Mann ki baat Programme Sanjeev Katwal was present with BJP incharge Avinash Rai khanna.After listening to Maan ki baat all leaders invited local public to prime minister's rally by giving invitation cards from house to house.
