Scam 1992 fame filmmaker Hansal Mehta has shared a great piece of news with fans and family. The artist has tied a knot with partner Safeena Husain in an intimate ceremony. The director shares a couple of pictures from the wedding ceremony in which the couple can be seen signing the wedding documents and hugging each other. While sharing the series of pictures, he wrote, “So after 17 years, two children, watching our sons growing up and chasing our respective dreams we decided to get hitched. As always in life this was also impromptu and unplanned.” “Our vows however were truthful and but for this little ceremony they would never have been said.

The wedding pictures showed Hansal Mehta wearing a casual T-shirt with a brown blazer, while Safeena donned a pink salwar suit. Wishes poured in from filmmakers Vishal Bhardwaj, Anubhav Sinha, actors Rajkummar Rao, Manoj Bajpayee, and his followers. Scam 92 fame Pratik Gandhi wrote in the comments section, “This is lovely. Well it’s inspiring and pressurising too”. Referring to his wife, Gandhi wrote, "Bhamini Oza is already giving me hard looks.”
Safeena Husain, daughter of late actor Yusuf Husain, is a social worker and the founder of the girl education organisation Educate Girls. Currently, the filmmaker is working on several projects at the same time. He revealed recently that the central role in 'Scam 2003: The Telgi Story' has been cast, with legendary theatrical performer Gagan Dev Riar taking on the role of Abdul Karim Telgi. He's also working on the Netflix series Scoop and the theatrical feature Captain India, which stars Kartik Aaryan. He also directed Faraaz, an action thriller with his son Jai Mehta, and is working on a movie starring Kareena Kapoor Khan.
