Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha is one of the most awaited films in Bollywood. The comedy-drama which stars Kareena Kapoor along with Khan has finally got a release date for its trailer. The makers have released two
songs but the video for the same is still kept under the wrap. Fans haven't witnessed any stint of the film. Now, for all the fans there’s great news as the trailer will be launched on the last day of IPL. Yes, you read it right! The makers have chalked out a big, interesting, and unique plan for the trailer launch of the eagerly awaited film, Laal Singh Chaddha.
Since the announcement of the film has been made, it created a buzz among the audience. A source close to the development revealed, “When it’s Aamir Khan, it has to be grand and never heard before. The trailer of Laal Singh Chaddha will be launched on 29th May, the day of the IPL finale. Cashing in on the IPL fervour, the makers of the Aamir Khan starrer have consciously decided to launch the trailer of their film, much to the surprise of the fans of cinema and cricket.” This is the first time in marketing and advertising history that a promotional asset will be launched during a cricket event.

Further, the source added, "The trailer will stream live on television on Star Sports during the second strategic timeout of the finale match to be held on 29th May creating a revolution and new benchmark in the ad and marketing world. This is the first time ever that a film is going to have a grand trailer launch on the world television platform and sports world."
Speaking of the film, Laal Singh Chaddha is the official Hindi remake of the Hollywood film Forrest Gump. Reportedly, Aamir has reunited with his 3 Idiots co-stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Mona Singh for the film. Nagarjuna's son Naga Chaitanya will be making his Bollywood debut with this film. The original Hollywood film featured Tom Hanks.
