Well-known former Bihar Chief Minister and RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, who has been sentenced in the fodder scam, is once again in trouble. After getting bail recently, CBI has once again gone after Lalu and registered a new case against him. Raids have been going on at around 17 places of Lalu and his wife Rabri Devi since Friday morning.

What is the matter?

It is alleged that between 2004-2009, when Lalu Yadav was the Railway Minister, people were given jobs in a wrong way. It is alleged that in lieu of giving jobs, Lalu Yadav had got the poor people written off the land. In the complaint letter filed, it has been said that Lalu Yadav had taken land at prime location in lieu of a job. The JDU leader had also lodged a complaint in this matter.

Lalu Yadav's wife and daughter also under investigation

There is a lot of anger among RJD workers against this raid and they have sat in front of their home. Apart from Yadav, raids are also going on at the places of his wife Rabri Devi and daughter Misa Bharti.

Senior leader Shivanand Tiwari reacted

RJD leader Shivanand Tiwari has also given his reaction to this raid. He has said that CBI raids at Rabri Devi's house and other places related to Lalu Yadav may also be a signal to Nitish Kumar. The growing closeness between Nitish Kumar and Tejashwi Yadav on the issue of caste census is making the BJP uncomfortable. The selection of the time of raid is pointing in this direction.

Jitan Ram Manjhi raised questions

After the raids on Lalu's premises, the political stir has increased a lot. Opponents have started giving their sharp statements. Jitan Ram Manjhi has raised questions about the timing of Raid and on Tejaswi Yadav’s London visit.

Speculations to make Misa Bharti the President of RJD

Let us also tell you that some time ago Manjhi's party had claimed that Misa Bharti can be made the president of RJD. But this claim is still in cold storage. After the raid, Lalu's daughter Rohini Acharya has targeted the opponents by tweeting.

Lalu was also hospitalised for a long time during the sentence.

73-year-old Lalu spent considerable time in jail having great trouble. He remained very ill due to which he had to be hospitalised for a long time. In the fifth and final case of the four scams, the court had granted him bail. But as soon as he came out of jail, the CBI opened a new case. Now Lalu's troubles seem to be increasing. He has been battling health issues for a long time. Amidst the raids, a large number of police forces are deployed outside the residence of Lalu Yadav's wife and former Chief Minister Rabri Devi.

Raid has also happened in railway recruitment case

There was a railway recruitment scam when Lalu Yadav was the Railway Minister at the Center from 2004 to 2009. Such was the allegation at that time. But a case was also registered. There was an allegation of rigging in the restoration which was taken out by the Railways. According to the report of ABVP, it is being said that the CBI team has reached Rabri residence in this connection. However, till now there has been no statement from the CBI.
