Akshay Kumar, and Ajay Devgan have all been slammed for these commercials. While Big B pulled out of a pan masala ad and Akshay Kumar stood down as a brand ambassador for a tobacco firm, it appears that some of these actors are now in legal problems.
Tamanna Hashmi, a Muzaffarpur-based activist, has filed a lawsuit under sections 467, 468, 439, and 120B against SRK, Ajay, Ranveer, and Big B. "Misusing their notoriety for the sole purpose of promoting gutka for financial gain," the charging document continues. The court has accepted the lawsuit, which will be heard on May 27. Amitabh Bachchan's contract with a chewing tobacco company expired in October 2021. Bachchan's office issued a statement claiming that he was unaware of a few specifics. 7.
