The National Cadets Corps of 2 NCC Girls Battalian  of Government College for Women Udhampur began with a clean sweep at ATC J1 Nagrota here today.   A total of forty four cadets along with the ANO, Lt. Kamal Deep Kaur attended the camp.The cadets brought laurels to the college by bagging gold in inter -company Volleyball competition and Tug of War competition. Besides, they also excelled in drill competition. 

Cadet Vaishali Sharma was adjudged the Best Cadet amongst 500 cadets who attended the camp. The cadets also presented scintillating dance performances on cultural evening choreographed by Cadet Bhoomika Thakur.Pertinent to mention, Lt. Kamal Deep Kaur, Associate NCC Officer of the college was felicitated by the Raksha Rajya Mantri Award by ADG, 2 J&K NCC Girls Bn Jammu on 26 January this year which was an accolade to her. The principal and staff of GCW Udhampur congratulated the NCC cadets and their ANO on their grand achievement.
