The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Khalid Jahangir today said that youth is the future of every society and its development and welfare is the priority of every Government. He said this while addressing a function, organized at District Police Lines Kupwara for reception of 19 students who returned from Bharat Darshan tour.SSP Kupwara, Yogal Manhas, Commanding Officer CRPF, Vinod Kumar; Chairman Municipal Committee Kupwara and CEO were present at the occasion. 

The DC said that the students who were taken for Bharat Darshan tour have got awareness of varied culture, heritage and monuments of different states of the country including Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Ajmer etc.  He stressed the need for holding such tours envisaged for the better exposure of youth.Khalid Jahangir advised youth to take part in such programmes and take interest in sports, athletics and co-curricular activities apart from studies. The programme was organised by CRPF 162 BN.
