Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, and Agastya Nanda are all scheduled to debut in Zoya Akhtar's next Netflix drama ‘
The Archies’. From the comic books, Archie Andrews and his gang will now be seen in an OTT film adaptation in India. The live-action musical, directed by
Zoya Akhtar, is set in 1960s India. Now, the makers have stepped forward and shared the film's first-look teaser and the poster was released. Tiger Baby and Graphic India produce the Indian adaptation of the legendary comics.
Not only the first look poster, but The Archies makers have also unveiled the teaser of the same. Speaking of the teaser, the video shows the cast erring around and having fun on the sets in character while a peppy song plays in the background. It shows the bonds and the friendship between Archie and his gang as they play around on what appears to be a picnic in a park near the woods. Also, the teaser introduces every character of the film. While sharing the teaser, Zoya wrote, “Ain't nothing like old school, Grab your gang 'cause the Archies are coming soon on Netflix”
Apart from Suhana, Khushi, and Agastya, the other four actors are "Super 30" star Mihir Ahuja, Dot, Yuvraj Menda, and Vedang Rain who are also part of this upcoming film. Speaking of their characters, it has been reported saying that Agastya will be seen playing the role of Archie Andrews, while Khushi and Suhana will be seen as Betty and Veronica.
