Drama continued throughout the day between the police of 3 states regarding the arrest of BJP leader Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga. On Friday, Bagga was arrested by the Punjab police from Delhi. On their way to Mohali, the Punjab police were blocked by the Haryana police as Delhi police registered a kidnapping case against Punjab police on the complaint of Bagga’s father.

After this the convoy of Punjab Police carrying Tejinder Singh Bagga is stopped by the Haryana Police in Kurukshetra and he is interrogated. Now finally Haryana Police hands over Tejinder Singh Bagga to Delhi Police and Delhi Police returns to Delhi with Bagga. After being taken into custody, the Delhi Police released Bagga at midnight. On the same night, Bagga reached his residence in Delhi. He was produced before the magistrate in Gurugram at 12 o'clock in the night. After which he was allowed to go home. On reaching his home, Tajinder Singh Bagga said that those who believe that they can do anything with the help of police, I want to tell them that a BJP worker will not be afraid of anyone. I thank Haryana and Delhi Police and all BJP workers for supporting me. Delhi Police has registered an FIR and the people concerned will be punished. Bagga did not stop here, he said- it was an illegal detention. This was not reported to any local police officer. If Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal wants, then register 100 more FIRs against me. We will keep fighting till he apologises for his statement about Kashmiri Pandits.

Explanation over whole matter:

Tejinder Pal Singh Bagga is accused of using objectionable words against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and trying to divide the society on the basis of religion and caste. When the AAP leader informed him about the FIR for the provocative statement, Tejinder Pal Singh Bagga reacted and tweeted – Not one to do 100 FIRs, but if Kejriwal calls the genocide of Kashmiri Hindus false, then I will say, if Kejriwal laughs at the genocide of Kashmiri Hindus, then I will speak, even if I have to face the consequences for that. I'm ready, I am not going to leave Kejriwal.

Not even allowed to wear a turban:

Regarding the incident, PS Bagga, father of Tajinder Singh Bagga, said that the police officers started dragging Tajinder, they did not allow him to wear a turban, it is against our religious principles. We have asked Punjabi brothers to raise their voice against this. At the same time, he said that in the end my son came back, this is the victory of truth. At the same time, Delhi BJP President Adesh Gupta also reached Bagga's residence and said that it is victory of truth, victory of democracy and victory of justice.
