Actor-turned-director Raj Singh Chaudhary, whose film, 'Thar' releases on Friday, has recreated a real life moment from his memories. As an ode to his father, the director recreated the latter's look of sporting a black leather jacket on a Yezdi bike with Anil Kapoor. Sharing the anecdote, Raj Singh Chaudhary informs, "I have visuals of my father sporting a black leather jacket on a Yezdi bike in the '80s during my growing up years. And I somehow always wanted to recreate the same moment on screen." The film also stars Satish Kaushik, Harshvarrdhan Kapoor and Fatima Sana Shaikh and finds its strength in the spaghetti western genre.

The filmmaker recalls, "It was a conscious decision to keep the jacket of my father for three years as I wanted to use it for one of my lead characters in the project that I world work on." "Fortunately, it worked well for Anil sir's character in 'Thar' and he has pulled it off so well, looking dashing and suave sporting the same jacket along with Ray-Ban glasses on a Yezdi bike. I shot with Anil sir in the same area where my father used to ride his bike, close to his farmhouse", he added. 'Thar', which is set to bow on Netflix on May 6, narrates the tale of a remote village in the deserts of Thar that is witnessing frequent killings.
