As promised the makers of Anek starring Ayushmann Khurrana in the titular role have shared the trailer of the political-thriller upcoming film. The trailer pledges to unite Hindustan, which is currently in pieces. Speaking of Ayushmann’s character, he will be seen essaying the role of an undercover cop in Anek. The trailer gives you goosebumps and depicts that the film is based on racism based on states. The film is shot in northeast India. Ayushmann said that Anek will "usher in a different language of cinema." Director Anubhav Sinha tackles the issue of bigotry and how the residents in the crucial part of the country continue to be treated as second-class citizens.

Moreover, Anek is also an action fare and the trouble caused by two rebel groups should make for a good watch. Further, the acting skills of Ayushmann make the movie more interesting and force us to watch the movie on the first day. The film also left us in a lot of suspense about how Ayushmann will cope with the issue and give justice to the Northeast people. The trailer also relived the memory of Shahrukh Khan’s film Chak de India when Ayushmann Says INDIA. Not only the lead actor or director but the film has many aspects to be watched and became one of the blockbuster films at the box office.

This is not the first time Anubhav Sinha and Ayushmann Khurrana are collaborating, earlier they worked together on the 2019 film Article 15. Anek marks their second collaboration. Jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Anubhav Sinha’s Benaras Mediaworks, Anek will hit cinema halls on 27 May.
