Actor Ayushmann Khurrana is all set to entertain his fans with his forthcoming action-flick Anek. Interestingly, this upcoming actioner will reunite director Anubhav Sinha and Ayushmann after their blockbuster film Article 15. The film was first slated to release on March 31, 2022, but later owing to the COVID-19 pandemic it was postponed to May 13. Ande now again after so many postpone the film got its’s new release date. It will now hit the silver screens on 27 May.Earlier it was clashing with Jayeshbhai Jordaar’, now the release date shift has also been made in order to avoid a clash with Ranveer Singh’s upcoming film.The new poster has been shared by film critic Taran Adarsh. While sharing the poster of Anek, wrote, ‘Anek will release on May 27, 2022. Speaking of the film, it has been reported that Anek has been shot in the difficult terrain of North-East India and is Sinha’s most expensive project to date. Anubhav Sinha is known for creating compelling socio-political dialogue through his cinema and his films are usually shot on a budget.Touted as a socio-political thriller, Anek is being bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar and Sinha under the banners of T-Series and Benaras Mediaworks. It is based on a subject that concerns our country at a deep-rooted level. The film is set in a certain social context and aims to celebrate the diversity of our nation. Now, all we can wait is for the release date to arrive and see whether it will mark another non-conventional film of Ayushmann Khurrana or not!
