Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab affairs co-in-charge Raghav Chadha said that, “We have not come to ask for votes but we have come to ask for a chance. We have not come to make the Aam Aadmi Party and our candidate win. We have come to ask for a chance to save Punjab. Akali Dal and Congress have ruled Punjab for 50 years. In these 50 years, Punjab was ruled by Congress for 26 years and Akali Dal for 24 years. Both the parties sold sand, cable, and transport of Punjab. Together, they sold the education system and the future of children.”Raghav Chadha was addressing a public meeting in favor of the party's candidate Dr. Charanjit Singh in the assembly constituency Chamkaur Sahib on Tuesday. He said that people are telling that Chief Minister Channi is distributing money in his constituency.

All this money belongs to the people of Punjab. If Channi gives money, don't refuse, but vote for Aam Aadmi Party. Chadha said that today the people of Punjab have two options. One who sold the soil of Punjab and on other side there is Aam Aadmi Party, Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann who have vowed to end mafia and corruption from Punjab. So give a chance to honest people. Chadha said that the AAP government will take strictest action against those who sold the soil of the holy land of Chamkaur Sahib.Targeting Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi, Raghav Chadha questioned Channi’s claim that he is poor. Chadha said the state Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi claims to be a poor man but his relative Bhupinder Singh Honey was raided by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Rs. 10 crore in cash and Rs 54 crore bank entries, a watch worth Rs. 16 lakh, a luxury car and property worth crores of rupees were seized.

He asked Channi where all this wealth came from.Raghav Chadha claimed that Honey had admitted to the ED that he had collected Rs. 325 crore during Channi's 111-day tenure. So, they amassed at the rate of Rs. 3 crore per day. Even Badals can match this strike rate. He said that Chief Minister Channi used to say that he was an auto driver, tent wala and cycle mechanic. But no auto driver has crores of rupees. No tent owner has a luxury car. No cycle mechanic has assets worth crores.Chadha appealed to the people to press the button of ‘Jharoo’ (Aam Aadmi Party's election symbol Broom) and make the party's candidate Dr. Charanjit Singh win with a huge vote margin so that an honest government of Aam Aadmi Party can be formed in Punjab. Former minister Jagmohan Singh Kang was also present along with Raghav Chadha on this occasion.
