I will change the face of Ferozepur constituency in terms of development and bringing more trade in the area so that our youth can get employment. Addressing press conference after attending meeting with the local leadership of BJP in Ferozpur, S Rana Gurmit Singh Sodhi, said that I will request the Hon Prime Minister Sh. Narender Modi for opening up of Hussainiwala border so that the economy of this area also changes. The border should be opened on the similar lines as Wagah has been opened for the tourists and for trade. Being border area the compensation of the Farmers along the border would also be given by the Government of India.Attacking the local MLA, Sodhi said that this is the high time that arrogance of MLA should be finished by the voters of the constituency. In these last five years the rate of crime has increased multifold, fake FIRs have been registered against innocent residents, snatching and thefts are on the rise, all these are directly happening under the nose of local MLA.
This would be not tolerated further at all and in future action will be taken by us on the culprits who so ever they may be.Sodhi said that Narender Modi led BJP government in India has brought lots of prosperity where ever they have their own Governments in the respective states. In this assembly elections also BJP would form the government in Punjab. Only Mr. Modi led BJP Government can bail out Punjab from the present fiasco.Today all the local Leadership of the BJP had joint meeting with Mr. Sodhi at his residence in which the future course of campaigning was discussed at large. All the BJP units also unanimously extended their full support to the candidate and vowed to work for his victory.
