In connection with the ongoing 'Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsov' campaign, the District Administration Srinagar in coordination with Food Safety & Drug Control Kashmir on Thursday organized an awareness programme under Eat Right challenge in and around Dal Lake, here.The programme was held on the directions of the Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz Asad to sensitize the Food Business Operators regarding adoption of good hygienic practices while providing services to the customers.The event was also aimed to create awareness among the people regarding healthy and better food choices, besides to strengthen the food safety and regulatory environment in the district.On the occasion, local people and Tourists were made aware about the Eat Right challenges and were asked to file complaints, if any, regarding quality of food on toll free number 104.
