To sensitize the trainees about various Energy Efficiency Schemes and Policies of Government, One Day Workshop on Energy Efficiency & Conservation has organized by Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Public Administration, Punjab (MGSIPA).According to the spokesperson of PEDA, this workshop was sponsored by Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Ministry of Power, Government of India and organized in association with Punjab Energy Development Agency (PEDA) and Punjab State Council for Science & Technology (PSCST).
The key objective of the workshop was to sensitize the trainees about various Energy Efficiency Schemes and Policies launched by BEE under the aegis of Ministry of Power, GoI. The trainees were also sensitized about UN’s sustainable development goals along with National Climate Action. More than 50 participants from various government departments of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Faculty from reputed Universities participated in the workshop.
