The Hon'ble Governor of Punjab Banwari Lal Purohit visited Hoshiarpur on Tuesday and reviewed implementation of various government schemes and ongoing vaccination drives in the district.Reviewing the work, he held meeting with administration officials including the Deputy Commissioner and expressed his satisfaction for disbursing benefit of schemes to people impeccably.On the occasion, Principal Secretary to the Hon'ble Governor Mr. J.M. Balamurugan was also specially present.Disclosing this here today Deputy Commissioner Mrs. Apneet Riyait said that all pro-people schemes of the government were being implemented in the district in a smooth manner so that the beneficiaries could benefit from it.
She further said that the health department was working diligently to administer 100 per cent jabs to people in the district.A special campaign has been launched to facilitate people and ensure vaccination. On this occasion, IG Mr. G.S. Dhillon, SSP Mr. Kulwant Singh Heer, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Urban Development) Mrs. Ashika Jain, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Mr. Darbara Singh Randhawa, Civil Surgeon Dr. Parminder Kaur Mrs. Parminder Kaur, other officers were also present.
