Terming the election manifestos issued by Congress and Aam Aadmi Party as a bundle of lies & flaws, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president Arun Sood has said that Congress  which gave mount of garbage to Chandigarh real is the culprit of the city beautiful while Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is the trader of fake dreams.Arun Sood was addressing a press briefing on the manifestos released by rival political parties at the Kamalam - party office, Sector 33 on Friday.Sood lauded  that both the political parties have not visited Chandigarh even once before making the manifesto. Had they been out in the city, they would have known the reality. Claiming to win all the 35 seats, the BJP President said that Congress and AAP are competing to provide free facilities to the residents of Chandigarh, while the people of this tax paying city want systematic facilities instead of freebies.  He said whichever party is talking about giving freebies to the residents of the city, they are simply misleading the people.

He said that the opposition political parties are claiming 24-hour drinking water supply while the BJP has already implemented it. The two political parties did not even once explain how they would implement the false declarations that they have included in their manifestos.Sood said that the political parties are claiming to built cycle tracks wherein a massive roll of cycle tracks are already here. He continues that 2200 CCTVs have been installed in the city wherein work has already started on the plan to install CCTVs on the inner roads of the city. Despite this, the opposition parties are talking about installing CCTV, misleading the residents. He said, Congress which claiming to roll out Indira Rasoi for ten rupees a meal has never considered BJP’s Akshaya Patra Annapurna Yojana during its tenure which is benefiting thousands of people. Apart from that Jan Aushadhi Kendras have already opened in Chandigarh. Despite this, which city is being talked about to be made a solar city.Challenging the Congress and AAP leaders for an open debate on the issue of Chandigarh, he said that the booking of community centers in the city is already being done through a single window.
