There is still need to promote welfare schemes for Education & employment to ensure equality among minority sections. It was disclosed by Chairman, National Commission for Minority Mr. Iqbal Singh Lalpura here today at Committee room of Administration Complex.While addressing the press conference Mr. Lalpura said that besides dealing with discrimination cases, it’s the responsibility of the National Commission for Minority to make people aware of all the benefits and programs which are being run for minority sections of our country. He said that education loans up to Rs. 20 lacs, business loans up to Rs. 30 lacs are also being provided by the Commission.

He informed that the interface coordination committees to be constituted at the district level across the country to deal with all the issues of minority sections. He assured that the Government of India will soon issue the performa for the certificate of a person belonging to the minority section. After getting the certificate, all eligible beneficiaries will get the hassle-free benefits of welfare schemes.He also pointed out that there is also need to increase the amount of financial aid in government schemes for which he will take up this issue with GoI. While presiding the meeting with representatives of various minority sections, he assured that all issues related to minorities will be dealt in a stipulated time manner.
