Chairperson District Development Council, Ramban, Dr Shamshad Shan, under her district wide public outreach campaign, today interacted with the public here at block Gundi-Drham to listen and redress the grievances of the folks living in far-flung areas.BDC, Chairperson, Gundi-Dharma, Javed Ahmed Manhas; DDC Councilor, Sakhi Mohammad; Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Mohd. Fareed Bhat; Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Dr. Bharat Bhushan; DSHO, Vikas Gupta; CEO, Executive Engineers of PWD, Jal Shakti, PMGSY Ramban, Tehsildar Gool,   Agriculture Officer and other officers besides prominent citizens attended the programme.A large number of people   put forth demands and problems being faced by them in managing their basic needs.Dr. Shamshad passed on spot directions to concerned officers for resolving the issues of public importance which have been highlighted by the PRIs and general public.

The PRIs and locals demanded opening of Health Sub Centre at Kohli and Dispensary for Hella, construction of Gagar Sulla to Dharam,  Harog to Hella and Dharam to Gool roads, replacement of electric poles, advance ration for winter season, old age pension for new applicants, opening of JK Bank branch at Dharam, up-gradation of water and power supply schemes, Staff for HS Dharam, registration of left out people on Awas Plus portal, Fire tender for Gundi-Dharam, up- gradation of HS Dharam to Higher Secondary  and Bhimdasa road.Responding to the issues, the Chairperson directed CMO to depute a doctor at Dharam and Executive Engineer  Jal Shakti to clear pending salary of daily wagers besides resolving  water supply issue  in Dharam area. Similarly, she directed FCS&CA to distribute pending free ration among identified beneficiaries.The Chairperson directed PWD, PMGSY, Jal Shakti and JPDCL to ramp up the pace of tender process and start the development works on allotted works to complete before snow season. Dr. Shamshada Shan assured that all issues will be redressed at the earliest.While interacting with the general public, the DDC Chairperson said that the District Development Council Ramban has already embarked on the wagon of public outreach programmes with an unflinching commitment. She urged the people to avail the benefits of the beneficiary oriented flagship schemes launched by the Government to benefit the people.
