Chairman, District Development Council (DDC) Kupwara, Irfan Sultan Panditpori and Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Imam Din today visited Sub District Hospital (SDH) Lanagte and presided over a ceremony for felicitation of health workers for achieving cent percent vaccination target of above 18 years people in the block.President Municipal Committee Langate, Mohd Sadiq, DDC Member Mawar, Khurshid Ahmad; BDC Langate, Showkat Ahmad Pandit; BMO Langate, besides, doctors and a large number of health workers were present on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, the Chairman DDC congratulated the doctors and health workers for achieving the 100% vaccination target in block Langate. He assured them every kind of support from the Council to facilitate them in smooth working of the SDH Langate.Deputy Commissioner in his address expressed his gratitude towards all stakeholders particularly health workers, PRIs and senior citizens for providing special coordination in achievement of the vaccination target in Langate block. He impressed upon the doctors and health workers to work with the same pace and dedication for cent percent administration of 2nd dose of Covid vaccine among the target population.Other speakers including DDC Members, BDC, Doctors also spoke on the occasion.Later, both the dignitaries felicitated various doctors and health workers with certificates of appreciation for rendering better services during COVID-19 pandemic.
