#1 Chal Mera Putt 2
Directed by Janjot Singh and written by Rakesh Dhawan, this 2020 comedy drama was released on March 13, and marks the sequel of its previous hit release ‘Chal Mera Putt' in 2019. Produced by Karaj Gill under Rhythm Boyz Entertainment and Ashu Munish Sahni under Omjee Star Studios, the movie features Amrinder Gill, Simi Chahal, and Garry Sandhu in lead roles while Iftikhar Thakur, Nasir Chinyoti, Akram Udas, Zafri Khan, Gurshabad, Hardeep Gill, Nirmal Rishi, and Ruby Anam in supporting roles. The story revolves around a bunch of Punjabis who make constant efforts and strive hard to make both ends meet while trying to settle in a foreign land.
#2 Snowman
All set to go on floors, on November 5, 2022, the most highly anticipated film of 2022 has been directed and written by Rana Ranbir and produced by Gippy Grewal under Superstar films and Aman Khatkar under her production house. Starring Rana Ranbir, Neeru Bajwa and Jazzy B in lead roles, the film has been shot in the picturesque locations and scenic beauty of Canada, marking the producer Aman Khatkar’s daughter, Arshi Khatkar’s acting debut.
#3 Saunkan Saunkne
Starring Sargun Mehta, Ammy Virk and Nimrat Khaira in pivotal roles, fans are deeply rooting for this one and looking forward to it’s release with immense enthusiasm, undoubtedly because of the highly loved and most popular cast trio. Directed by Amarjeet Singh Saraon and written by Amberdeep Singh, this romantic comedy drama has also been co-produced by Amberdeep Productions, Dreamiyata Pvt Ltd, Naad Films and JRN Films. Saunkan Saunkne is all set to go on floors, on April 14, 2022.
#4 Rabb Da Radio 3
With the threequel lined up to hit the theatres on April 8, 2022, one can already estimate the amount of love and applause this one has been receiving by fans and viewers worldwide. Rabb Da Radio is one of the most loved and highly appreciated Punjabi franchises of all times, with the first installment to have released in 2017, followed by it’s sequel release in 2019, and now another addition to the superhit franchise. Rabb Da Radio 2 was honoured with the 67th National Award and we can’t wait for part 3. Starring Tarsem Jassar in the lead, the name of the female protagonist is yet to be revealed.
#5 Jattan Da Munda Gaun Lagya
Scheduled to be released on March 18, 2022, this upcoming Punjabi movie will feature a very popular artist and ‘Same Beef' singing sensation, Sidhu Moosewala, who’ll be making his acting debut with ‘Yes I Am Student’ to drop on October 22, 2021. Written and directed by Amberdeep Singh, this is certainly the one you need to watch out for!
