Haryana Health Minister, Anil Vij has said that "We want Vaccination to become a public movement, for which all the institutions should come forward to expedite the administration vaccine doses in a better manner so as to contain the spread of COVID-19 by vaccinating everyone."He said this after inaugurating the Vaccination Camp on Ambala-Delhi road near Shastri Colony for brothers, who are truck drivers, in Ambala today.He said that this is a very good effort, truck drivers are a community who are on duty day and night and interact with people closely. Sh. Vij said that the work of vaccination is being done by the government by setting up camps at different places. This camp has been arranged for the truck drivers to get vaccinated as well. He himself took information about whether the beneficiary had received the first dose of the vaccine after interacting with Ramnath, who came from Bikaner, Naveen, Devraj from Bareilly, and truck drivers from Shimla, Chhachhrauli. The truck drivers told him that they were getting the first dose of the vaccine. The truck drivers also expressed gratitude to the Health Minister, Sh. Anil Vij for the Camp.
Health Minister, Sh. Anil Vij also said on this occasion that truck drivers will be benefitted from this Vaccination Camp. He said that the administration of vaccination is being done expeditiously and so far, 1.35 crore beneficiaries have been vaccinated in Haryana. He also said that the truck drivers are being vaccinated in the Vaccination Camp organized here after stopping them. Along with this, they are also being requested to sit for 30 minutes after administration of the vaccine. Apart from this, complete arrangements have been made here by the Health Department.Sh. Anil Vij, while interacting with the truck driver, who was getting the vaccine administered also inquired about his well being and suggested him to rest for at least 30 minutes at the Camp after the administration of the vaccine. All arrangements were made here by the team of Health Department. Refreshments were also arranged for the truck drivers. This Vaccination Camp was organized with the support of private channel and the Home Minister also expressed gratitude to the officials of the private channel organization on this occasion.On this occasion, PMO Dr. Rakesh Sahal, Dr. Vinay Gulati, RTO Gauri Midda, Divisional Head Rajiv Dimple, Media Coordinator Vijender Chauhan, Sanjeev Walia, Neelam Sharma, Deepak Bhasin along with other dignitaries were present.
