The District Development Council (DDC) Baramulla, Chairperson Safeena Beigh today chaired a meeting of officers at Dak Bungalow here to review the pace and progress of various developmental projects undertaken by different executing agencies in the district.On the occasion, a comprehensive discussion was held wherein the ADDC briefed the chair about the current status of developmental activities undertaken by different departments. He gave sector wise briefing of different works and presented in depth details during the meeting.After taking a detailed review, the DDC Chairperson stressed upon the concerned agencies to ramp up the pace of work so that all the undertaken projects are completed well within the stipulated timeframe. She emphasized for mobilising all the available resources productively and effectively for achieving the desired results. She also assured her full cooperation on her part and added that socio-economic development should be sole priority.Meanwhile, various issues hampering the path of development, were thoroughly discussed in the meeting during which the chairperson assured that all the impediments shall be taken with the concerned authorities for their time bound redressel.Meeting was attended by DDC members, ADDC Baramulla Aijaz Abdullah Saraaf, Joint Director Planning, PRIs, heads of concerned departments, among other functionaries.
