Targetting Prime Minister Narendra Modi for sponsoring inhumane loot of Indians through unbearable price spike, NSUI Punjab President Akshay Sharma on Friday said a callous centre is criminally liable for severe hardships being faced by millions of citizens. This exorbitant rise in prices of essential goods has made it almost impossible for maximum of Indians to make both ends meet, Akshay said pointing out that the most insensitive central dispensation is sleeping while people are desperately looking for ways to survive.Leading a massive protest at Novelty Chowk here earlier in the day, young Congress leader pointed out that Modi has raised price of domestic LPG by whopping nearly Rs 250 per cylinder spiralling price of each cylinder from Rs 594 to 834 last seven months. Besides, rate of milk too have been hiked as if already high prices of petrol and diesel were not enough to cause increase in daily use products, Akshay said blaming Modi for this assault on lives of Indians. The protest march, part of nationwide agitations carried out by Congress, was joined by people from all walks of life who raised slogans against the PM Modi and his insane economic policies which have wrecked havoc with lives of common man.Underlining the vicious downturn in India's economic situation under Modi in last seven years, Akshay Sharma said the impact on livelihoods and jobs has been most compelling across sectors and millions have lost their right to earn a living. Modi's insanity and arrogance is killing Indians, he said.
