The appeal by Deputy Commissioner Girish Dayalan to the industry was well reciprocated here today with the District receiving generous support in the form supply orders of two Oxygen Plants and Rs.10 lakh for Covid relief activities to be conducted through District Red Cross Society.Earlier in the day, Deputy Commissioner met the representatives of Industrial associations, IT and real estate, appreciating the support extended so far in the COVID combat, he called upon them to contribute generously in fight against COVID19.He said that battle against corona virus cannot be fought alone; the private sector, businesses, industry, foundations, corporations and philanthropists may collaborate with government to deliver essential COVID care.The second wave of COVID is affecting us all and, in many ways, it is worse than the first one. One major impact is the stress on our healthcare system. In such a scenario, to extend protection to as many as possible Deputy Commissioner asked them to support Vaccination of 18 to 44 years age group by donating in State COVID Vaccination Fund at the rate of Rs. 430/dose of Covaxin.Donating vaccine is donating life, said he. The industry assured maximum support under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).In the meanwhile, the Saraswati Agro Chemicals(India) Pvt. Ltd/- promised installation of 100 LPM Oxygen Plant for Kharar Sub-Divisional Hospital. Handing the purchase order Lalit Bansal from Saraswati Agro assured that plant installation will be complete within four weeks. He also donated in the memory of his grandparents Lt Shri Karam Chand Bansal and Lt. Smt. Jamuna Devi, Rs. 10 lac to District Red Cross Society to carry out covid relief activities.The Confederation of Real Estate Developers' Associations of India (CREDAI), rising to occasion also placed an order of1000 LPM Oxygen Plant for the District.
