Journalist fraternity Kupwara on Monday said that journalists are working in tough conditions amid the COVID19 pandemic and any kind of inconvenience to them is unacceptable and against the ethos and principles of a promising society.The statement came days after Suhail Yousuf Shah, a member of Journalist Fraternity Kupwara and Asia News Network's (ANN) Kupwara correspondent did a story a video story wherein a doctor was found at his private clinic "during duty hours".In the meantime, the video of the news went viral, while most of the people appreciated the efforts of the Journalist, and some people with ill intentions made unwarranted comments.The news by Suhail has sent a message that we all need to be loyal to our job especially in this pandemic as by this and together we can fight this pandemic, said Yahya Sultan. Yahya further said that JFK will always stand by the journalists in the district who uphold the ethics and standards of the journalism and appreciate the efforts of the Suhail Yousuf Shah.The fraternity has verified the authenticity of the news from the Journalist, "he stressed that he has not misreported but has enough evidence to establish that the said the doctor was present at his private clinic during duty hours, the statement reads and reiterated the call that blackmailing by anyone in the name of media would not be permitted at any cost.
