Vice-Chancellor, Himachal Pradesh Technical University, Hamirpur Prof. S.P. Bansal called on Governor Bandaru Dattatraya at Raj Bhavan today. He presented a 'Coffee Table Book' published by the University to the Governor which mentioned the developmental journey of 10 years after the establishment of the university besides achievements, vision and future plans of the higher institute.While appreciating the initiative of the Vice Chancellor, the Governor said that it was the only technical university in the State, which has worked on reorientation of education, quality education and management. In its short span, it has made valuable contributions in education sector through training, research, innovation, entrepreneurship and sustainable programs, he said as a result, the university has also been at the forefront of finding solutions to global challenges and the changing needs of society and economy, he said. He expressed satisfaction that the university has set up high standards through training and research.He hoped that the Coffee Table Book would not only become an important document, but also to inspire students of technical university.
