The District Development Commissioner (DDC), Kupwara, Imam Din todat inspected an under construction building of Indian System of Medicine (ISM) at Kupwara.The DMO informed that the building has been constructed at a cost of Rs.1.45 crore by JKPCC. However, the building needs additional funds for its completion.The DDC on the occasion assured the concerned officer for making the required funds available so that the building is completed during this year.He directed the DMO to intensify the efforts for promoting Indian System of Medicines so that people in this far flung district could get added medicare facilities.Earlier, the DDC also took stock of the Medical Store and functioning of the department.The DDC during the visit was accompanied by District Medical Officer (DMO) ISM Kupwara and concerned officers.
