56 new citizen services to be made available through Sewa Kendras : DC Girish Dayalan

In the larger interest of the Public, Punjab Government is striving to provide maximum citizen centric services of various departments in a transparent, integrated and time bound manner under one roof, informed Deputy Commissioner Girish Dayalan after the launch of 56 new citizen services through Sewa Kendras. The launch ceremony was performed virtually by Captain Amarinder Singh, Chief Minister Punjab.Deputy Commissioner said that there 15 Sewa Kendras including one at district level (Type-I), eleven at tehsil level (Type-II) and three at village level (Type-III ) in SAS Nagar. These Sewa Kendras are being used as a common front end for various Departments. Currently 271 citizen centric services are being delivered through Sewa Kendras.He shared that daily footfall in 15 Sewa kendras of the District ranges between 1300 to 1500 and as many as 1.12 lac services have been delivered in a period of 24 months through 69 counters at these Sewa kendras, despite pandemic.The additional 56 services launched today are related to Departments like Transport, Police and Revenue. These include Saanjh Kendra Service of acknowledgement of the complaint for any kind of offence filed to police department, obtaining Information of action taken on complaint, Copy of FIR or DDR, Copy of untraced report in road accident cases, Copy of untraced report in case stolen vehicle, Copy of untraced report in theft cases, NOC for use of loud speakers, NOC for fair/melas/exhibition/sports events, NOC for pre-owned vehicles, Police Clearance for Visa, complaint to police for missing article e.g. Wallet, Debit/Credit Card, Driving License, Registration Card etc ,Missing Passport, Missing Mobile, Character Verification, Tenant Verification/PG, Employee Verification, Domestic Help or Servant Verification, New Arm license, Renewal of New Arm Licnese, and Extension of Jurisdiction.Besides this, Fard Kendra Service of obtaining Copy of Fard and Transport Departmenrt Services like registering of the new vehicles , transferring the vehile ownership ,Duplicate RC, Change of Address of the owner of the vehicle ,Hypothecation Addition when the vehicle is purchased on a loan borrowed from a financer. This allows RTA to add the details of the financer on the RC, hypothecation Termination, Hypothecation Continuation, NOC on sale of vehicle to resident of other State, Withdraw of RC Application, Check Application Status of RC, Check e-payment Status of RC, Booking Appointment for Learner License/Driving license(DL) , Issue of Duplicate DL, Renewal of DL, Change of Address in DL, Replacement of DL, Endorsement to Drive hazardous material, Issue of Public Vehicle Servic” (PSV) badge to a driver of public transport, Issue of Duplicate PSV badge, Renewal of PSV badge for a DL, Endorsement to drive in hill region, Change of name in DL, Mobile Update, Conductor License Renewal ,Extension of Learner License, Duplicate Learner License, Correction of Learner’s license (Address & Name, Withdrawal of Application for Driving license, Check Application Status of Driving license and Check e-payment status of Driving license.
