DRAC Kishtwar approves 25 Rent Assessment Cases

The District Rent Assessment Committee (DRAC), which met here today under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Ashok Sharma, approved 25 rent cases.The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pawan Parihar; Assistant  Labour Commissioner, Anoop Kumar; AD FCS&CA, Gh. Rasool Lone; Tehsildar Mughal Maidan, Nayeem Iqbal Sheikh; Tehsildar Nagseni, Majid Jahangir; Dy SP, Pardeep Sen; Chief Education Officer, Ashok Kumar; DTO Lokesh Kumar, XEns of PWD, PMGSY,  besides the concerned district officers.The Committee discussed the fixation of rent of various structures in which various government offices are functioning across the district.The rent cases pertaining to Police, Army, Revenue, PMGSY, Education, Youth services and Sports, SFC, Animal Husbandry, CA&PD, Handicraft, Agriculture, Health, besides PWD department were approved by the Committee. The Deputy Commissioner asked the officers to pay rent to the concerned owners of land and structures on time and ensure safety of the Government/rented property.He further asked the intending authorities to pay the approved rent along with the arrear after the title verification certificate is issued by concerned Tehsildar.
