Punjab Tableau depicting unparalleled and supreme sacrifice of Ninth Sikh Guru Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji to mark his 400th Prakash Purb was the star attraction during the 72nd Republic Day parade at New Delhi.Disclosing this here today, an official spokesperson of the Punjab government said that the state’s tableau aptly reflected the theme to perpetuate the life and philosophy of ‘Hind Di Chadar’ Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, who laid down his life to uphold the eternal values of humanity, religious co-existence and freedom of faith.The tableau got massive applause from the people of different walks of life across the country, who highly lauded the Punjab government’s endeavour to showcase Guru Ji's unprecedented sacrifice and valour for the sake of mankind and religious tolerance, which is evident from the encouraging comments posted on various social media platforms. The tableau has set forth the divine ambience on 400th Prakash Purb celebrations of Ninth Sikh Guru which would go a long way in cementing the bonds of universal brotherhood, communal harmony and national integration.Notably, the tableau of Punjab has been selected for the Republic Day parade for the fifth consecutive year. State’s tableau got the third position in 2019 being the shining achievement, while its tableau on Jallianwala Bagh massacre earned accolades all over. Earlier, in 1967 and 1982 also, the Punjab tableau won the third slot, the spokesperson added.
