Commissioner Secretary, Industries and Commerce, Manoj Kumar Dwivedi today visited Khansahib Budgam in connection with Block Diwas, a prelude to upcoming B2V3 program.Deputy Commissioner, Budgam Shahbaz Ahmed Mirza, SP Budgam Amod Ashok Nagpure, SDM Khansahib and other concerned officers were present on the occasion.

Commissioner Secretary had a daylong visit to Khansahib and other areas of the district wherein he inaugurated and laid foundation stone for various development works related to Protection bandh, Public Parks and link roads at Yagbugh, Shamsabad Khansahib completed under MGNREGA scheme and 14th F.C.Dwivedi, while addressing people during a function at GDC Khansahib, said that top priority of present dispensation is rapid growth and development of all parts of the UT.Commissioner Secretary hailed the efforts of district administration in conducting a successful reach out program during Block Diwas in which all departments installed their stalls depicting their schemes meant for public welfare and development.Meanwhile, Commissioner Secretary had a detailed assessment of grievances and demands put forth by the public.Later, he distributed aid and equipments among specially abled persons besides giving away sports kits to youth.He also met scores of public delegations and listened to their issues and demands.Meanwhile, Chairmen of Block Development Councils from Khansahib, Parnewa and Khag, Sukhnag blocks apprised the Commissioner Secretary of their issues and demands pertaining to macdamisation of roads, land acquisition compensation, overcharging of fares by public transporters, non availability of water and electricity supply in some areas.Diwedi instructed the concerned officers for submission of a consolidated report regarding the issues raised by the people here and action taken up thereof.
