DDC Kathua discusses District Skill Action Plan at DSC meeting

The counters of the District Action Plan were today discussed here at District Skill Committee (DSC) ITI Kathua meeting held here under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner, Om Prakash Bhagat.The District Skill Committee (DSC) ITI Kathua with members from different departments and representatives from industrial Association   gave valuable suggestions for achieving the target of Skill Development in the district.Superintendent ITI Kathua (Convener District Skill Committee Kathua) Naresh Singh briefed the Industrial representatives about various Skill Training schemes of Government in the implementation of which they can play an important role. He sought the support of the Industrial sector in the training & absorption of the local skilled labour as per their demand.The Chairman District Skill Committee Om Parkash Bhagat exhorted upon Industrial representatives to come forward to play their active role in Skill Training for which they assured full cooperation to the DSC in general and ITIs in particular.Meanwhile, the DSC discussed in detail the Skill action Plan submitted by the departments along with their success stories. He asked the Departments, who have not submitted the Skill action Plan yet to submit the same at an earliest for early finalization of District Skill action Plan.Among others, the meeting was attended by Executive President CTM Kathua, President Industrial Association Kathua, President Industrial Association Hiranagar ,  Chief Agriculture Officer Kathua , District Officer J&K SC/ST/OBC Corporation , Director RSETI , District Nodal officer JKEDI Kathua , Functional Managers DIC Kathua , Handicrafts Training officer Handicraft Department
