GDC Kishtwar conducts second phase of Campus Cleanliness Drive

Government Degree College Kishtwar today conducted the second phase of Campus Cleanliness Drive in collaboration with JK Eco watch Organisation as a part of a series of activities scheduled to celebrate 151st Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti.The event was held under the patronage of the College Principal, Prof. Anirudh Sharma and convenorship of Prof. Sonika Sen, HOD Sociology.During the cleanliness drive, faculty members of the college and volunteers of JK Eco-watch organization participated actively. They were provided gloves and sanitizers.The programme focused on cleaning up college campus  and creating awareness among the society in general and students in particular.Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Anirudh stressed upon the value of cleanliness in our daily life and added that only clean and green surroundings can save the environment, ecosystem and nurture life on earth.
