Review meeting for proposed B2V3 programme held in Anantnag

The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Anantnag, KK Sidha today chaired a meeting of concerned officers to review the proposed programme for conduct of B2V3 to be launched from 2nd October 2020.The DDC directed RDD to chalk out the programme of concerned departments as being the nodal agency of the said programme at the grass roots level.He also said that the liabilities created during the execution of works under B2V1 and B2V2 are to be released and all the departments should ensure the delivery of their services as per the already conducted programmes during 20109-20.The DDC said that the officers should record and document the demands, services related to power, water, healthcare, education, road connectivity, construction of play fields, protection bunds, approach roads to agricultural fields, supply of high voltage transformers, HT/LT poles with conductors, establishment of sheep/veterinary units and handicraft training centres as raised during recently concluded B2V2 programme.He stressed upon the concerned officers to ensure mass awareness cum sensitization from 10th of Sep to 30th of Sep 2020 and furnish the list of demands and requirements to the ACD Anantnag.The DDC directed the officers to enlist the demands in their annual plan with relevant format in consultation with PRI’s.Earlier the DDC also held a meeting with officers regarding registration of labours, widows, old age pensioners by social welfare department and other beneficiaries to be provided financial assistance under constructional labours by labour department for educating their children marriage assistance and insurance in case of death of the said labour.He directed the officers for registration of deserving beneficiaries in consultation with PRI’s and MC Ward members and to weed out the illegal beneficiaries.Among others, the meeting was attended by SDM’s, Tehsildars, officers of  Health, RDD, PHE, PDD, Agriculture , Horticulture , I&FC, PMGSY, R&B, Social Welfare, ICDS, Labour & Employment, Animal & Sheep Husbandry, Education, FCS & CAPD, Floriculture besides BDC Chairpersons, Panchs and Sarpanchs.
