Vice Chairman Srinagar Development Authority (SDA) Dr. Bashir Ahmed today held an interactive session with Executive Officers of Municipal Committee Budgam, Ganderbal and Pulwama (Khrew and Pampore areas).These areas come within the jurisdiction of Srinagar Metropolitan Region Development Authority constituted under J&K MRD Act, 2018 headed by Chairman who is also Vice Chairman SDA, currently.During the session, the officers and officials of these Municipal Committees were updated about construction norms within their limits that has to be in accordance with the Master Plan 2015-35.The officials were also made aware that the government Order No. 4411 (HUD) or 2020 prevents any developmental activity involving a quantum of land more than 10 kanals without prior permission of the MRDA. Also, no authority, including any municipal or local authority, or project implementing agency, shall grant any permission of construction without prior permission of MRDA.Senior Town Planner Farzana Naqashbandi gave a detailed presentation, making aware the respective stakeholders about the necessary compliance with regard to building permission and construction activities in accordance with the new master plan.Secretary, SDA, Deputy Director (Enforcement) and other officers of SDA were also present in the meeting.
