Secretary DMRRR inspects progress on Transit Accommodation at Wandhama

Secretary, Disaster Management Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction (DMRRR) and FCS&CA, Simrandeep Singh, today visited the site for Transit Accommodation which is coming up at Wandhama, Ganderbal and assessed the progress on works being executed there.Deputy Commissioner, Ganderbal, Shafqat Iqbal, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Ganderbal Farooq Ahmad Baba and Executive Engineer R&B accompanied the Secretary.Executive Engineer R&B briefed the Secretary about progress of work on the project and discussed the layout plan for Transit Accommodation.He was informed that the project which comprises of 12 apartments with 192 flats having total plot area of 30 Kanal had been approved for an amount of Rs. 18 crore and May 2022 has been fixed deadline for its completion.Secretary appreciated the progress achieved so far by the executing agency on the project in spite of Covid Pandemic.
