The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kulgam, Showkat Aijaz Bhat today chaired a meeting of Officers and Bankers to review the progress made under Kisan Credit Card (Atma Nirbar) scheme in the district.On the occasion, the DDC directed for cent percent coverage of all farm operating families under the KCC scheme in the district and also asked the officers of agriculture and allied departments and Bankers to achieve the targets with close coordination and ensure coverage of all farm operating families under KCC (Atma Nirbhar) scheme.Later the DDC chaired a separate meeting of officers to review the arrangements put in place for smooth conduct of Muharram.The concerned officers were directed to ensure that all requisite arrangements are made available to the devotees during these days.The DDC directed the AD-FCS&CA to ensure adequate provisions of ration besides Executive Engineers of PDD and PHE were directed to ensure uninterrupted power and potable drinking water supply in these areas.Meanwhile, The DDC also directed CMO to ensure availability of life-saving drugs and installation of medical camps around Imam baras.He also urged the people to adhere to guidelines in view of COVID-19 pandemic.The meeting was attended by JD- Planning, CAHO, CAO, CHO, LDM, Cluster Head JK Bank and Coordinators of various banks.
