Ramban admin hosts capacity building program for newly appointed BDOs

District administration Ramban today organised a one day capacity building program for the Probationer KAS officers appointed as Block Development Officers (BDO) in different  blocks of the district.District Development Commissioner, Nazim Zai Khan, presided over the programme which was attended by ACD, Zameer Ahmed Rishu, Chief Master Trainer  (DPO) Ramban, Sunil Bhutyal, Master Trainer Bashir- ul- Hussain, Xen REW and other concerned officers.The DDC exhorted upon the young officers to work with dedication and  honesty to serve the society and reminded them that the people have high expectations from them.Asking the officers to maintain highest standards of probity and integrity in  discharging their duties, the DDC said their main motive should be to serve the people by delivering justice in a fair, transparent and hassle-free manner. “You have to understand  the intricate issues which are routinely faced by the general public and learn to settle these in an impartial and compassionate manner,” he emphasized.The DDC reiterated the  initiative taken by the administration to ensure inclusive and sustainable development of the district. “We need to provide smart governance to realize the socio-economic  aspirations of our people, especially living in rural areas,” he added.During the training programme, the participating officers were acquainted with the topography, demography,  general issues, priorities and challenges besides progress on major development projects being executed in district Ramban.Resource persons gave a detailed presentation on  the developmental activities being carried out in the district under RDD sector, besides sharing with them experiences of their services at various positions.
