Members of State BJP Mahila Morcha led by its President Rashmi Dhar Sood tied Rakhis on the wrist of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on the occasion of ‘Raksha Bandhan’ at his official residence ‘Oak Over’, here today. Vandhana Gularia, Sheetal Vyas Sharma and other functionaries of the Morcha were also present on the occasion.The representatives of Brahamakumaris also tied Rakhi to the Chief Minister at its official residence.The Chief Minister was presented homemade Rakhi by self-help groups (SHGs) of the State prepared under National Livelihood Mission. Director, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Lalit Jain said that these SHGs prepared 2.70 lakh Rakhis and earned about Rs. 22 lakh by its sale.
