Indian System of Medicine (ISM) today distributed immunity booster medicines among the employees at District Development Commissioner’s office Bandipora to boost the natural immunity of the field staff.Divisional Nodal Officer ISM Dr Iftikhar Gazi said that the immune booster medicines are being distributed as per protocol issued by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India and following the direction of DDC Bandipora, Zahoor Ahmad Mir.Highlighting the role of immune boosters in Covid-19 pandemic, the Officer said that enhancing the body’s natural defence system (immunity) plays an important role in maintaining optimum health.The Medical Officer along with a team of doctors also created awareness among the employees about mode of consumption and dosage of these immune-boosting medicines.He said that besides distributing medicines the ISM doctors and paramedic staff are actively working shoulder to shoulder with the Department of Health and are effectively delivering their services.
