Today, in the leadership of RavinderPathania, President BJP District No. 2 free masks were distributed by SDM central Nazuk Kumar to the people residing in the EWS colonies and Kachi Colony of Dhanas. The free mask distribution was part of the campaign “Face Cover” started amidst the COVID-19 outbreak Mandal Presidents Varinder Tamta, Sukhwinder Singh, Suresh Gupta, Ravinder Thakur, Sonu Gupta, Mohinder Rana, Pradeep Yadav, Nazma, Shankar Tanwar and Vijay Thakur were also present.Giving information about the event, Ravinder Pathania said, “Since the outbreak if COVID-19 in the country, several campaigns are being run in the leadership of BJP Chandigarh President Arun Sood to help the people fight this pandemic.” He informed that, after positive cases were found in the Ward No. 5 and 5A, masks were distributed in those areas as well. Pathania expressed his gratitude to Nazuk Kumar for doing his duty tirelessly in these times of crisis without heed to his personal safety.Nazuk Kumar also told the people to be aware and take all precautions as prescribed by the government for safety of their community. He expressed special thanks to the volunteers for their help to administration in managing this pandemic. He said, using masks and practising social distancing we can save ourselves and stop the spread of this virus.
