EKRAM: One of the most necessary films we need to see and understand today! It’s said that terrorism has no religion. But many events that shook the world in recent years have labeled a particular religion and its people as terrorists. But is everyone like that? Ekram tells a story of young and college topper guy Ekram Siddhique who is taken into police custody randomly without any evidence and what happens next with him forms the crux of the story.Direction: Saheem Khan is a director to watch out for! He handles the subject with utmost maturity without getting it bored or repetitive. His command over script is apt. Special mention to his handling emotional scenes. Technical depts.: Cinematography is apt. Editing is sharp and to the point. Music is ok but gels well with the flow of the story. Performances: Since many years, crime show called Crime Patrol is one of the best show of tv and it gave us many gems of actors and Saheem Khan is one of them! He is main lead of the film and director too and handles both departments with equal ease. His performance is one of the best I saw in recent times! His eyes speak a lot. The pain, anguish, despair, hopes of a 22 year old he has depicted all the required emotions with gusto! Already he has got many awards for his bravura act and will deserve many more. Rest all actors are known faces of crime patrol and all as usual act well in their respective roles. Overall: As I always say, there are entertaining films and necessary films!
