Taking strong notice of the incident of cleaning vegetables with the polluted water flowing from Patiala ki Rao near Landran, the Chairman Market Committee Kharar and Political Secretary to Health Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu -- Harkesh Chand Sharma Machhli Kalan personally visited the spot to take stock of the ground situation. He said that these vegetables were to be sold in the markets of Mohali and Kharar which could have posed grave risk to the health of the people. He also made it clear that nobody would be allowed to play with the lives of the people. He urged the District Administration to take strong action against the culprits which could serve as a lesson to those indulging in such a shameful act.He was accompanied by the Sarpanch of New Landran Gurmukh Singh, Charanjit Singh Channi, Harnek Singh Gill and Parminder Singh Gill.
