The District Development Commissioner, Baramulla, Dr G N Itoo accompanied by concerned officers today visited various areas of the district to take on spot appraisal of various ongoing developmental projects under the languishing projects scheme.The DC inspected ongoing construction works at SRTC bridge, connecting main town Baramulla with the Old town and directed the concerned to complete the project by this March.He also inspected GMC Baramulla to take stock of ongoing works and directed the concerned agencies to speed up the pace of work to complete the project within stipulated timeframe.Later, the DC chaired a meeting of concerned officers to review the physical and financial achievements registered under annual district Capex Budget and the languishing projects scheme.Joint Director Planning, Mohammad Yosuf Rather, Chief Medical Officer, Dr Deeba, Assistant Commissioner Yaar Ali, District Social Welfare Officer, Showket Ahmad Showket, Chief Horticulture Officer and other concerned were present in the meeting.
