Additional Mission Director Kashmir, Jammu Kashmir Rural Livelihoods Mission, Sajid Yehaya Naqash today flagged off a group of 30 identified Mahila Kisaans for training and exposure visit to Sheri Kashmir University of Agriculture and Technology (SKAUST),Kashmir.The day long exposure tour was organized by JKSRLM under Mahila Kissan Sashakti Pariyojna (MKSP) project.While interacting with the female farmer, he said that the purpose of the tour was to create awareness regarding various avenues of the Agricultural related activities. He said that the programme has been organized for acquainting the Mahila Kisaans with modern techniques of commercial Agriculture, emerging trends in organic farming and types of seed especially highbred seeds, Floriculture and its scope. He said that this workshop will give an opportunity to Mahila Kisaans to interact with the scientists, experts and extension functionaries and help them in understanding modern farm technology.On the occasion Mahila Kisaans lauded the Mission for organizing the tour.
