Process to fill 1090 posts of Patwari initiated : Gurpreet Singh Kangar

Punjab Government has started the process to fill up 1090 vacant posts of Patwaris in Revenue Department. It was disclosed by Punjab Revenue Minister  Gurpreet Singh  Kangar here today.In a press communiqué, Mr. Kangar said that out of the total 1090 posts, 406 posts will be given to general category, 117 for economical weaker sections of  general category, 117 for BM under Scheduled Caste category, 91 for SC (R&O) and 114 posts will reserved for Backward Classes.Revenue Minister further said that apart from  this 167 posts falls under Ex-Servicemen category, in which 93 posts for general category, 27 for BM of Scheduled Castes, 26 for SC (R&O), 21 for Backward Classes. He said  that 29 posts will be filled from Orthopedics Handicapped candidates.Mr. Kangar said that 49 posts will be filled in Sports Quota category. Out of which, 20 posts will given to  general category, 10 for BM category of Scheduled Castes, 06 posts for SC (R&O). Besides this, 13 posts will be filled under the Freedom Fighter quota. He said that these posts  will be filled under pay scale of 10300-34800+3200. He said that Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board has been asked to fill the vacancies.
