There would be zero tolerance towards corruption and the harassment of the people in the Government offices. These views were expressed here today by the Political Secretary to the Health Minister Mr. Balbir Singh Sidhu --Mr. Harkesh Chand Sharma Machhli Kalan while listening to the grievances of the public at the offices of various departments situated in the District Administrative Complex. He also met the officiating DC Mrs. Aashika Jain and got the problems and pending issues of the public redressed in the District Social Security and the Rural Development and Panchayat Departments for which the people thanked him profusely.Mr. Machhli Kalan also said that the Punjab Government is providing corruption free environment to the common man besides making it sure that the people don't have to encounter difficulties in getting their works done in the Government offices. He also cautioned that any Government official/employee indulging in corruption and harassing people would be strictly proceeded against. Mr. Machhli Kalan also divulged that the State Government in a phasewise manner has fulfilled all the promises made to the people and is fully committed to make the State again attain front ranking amongst the developed States of the country. Among others present on the occasion included Sarpanch of Manauli Mr. Zora Singh, Sarpanch of Nadiali Mr. Gurwinder Singh, Mr. Darbara Singh Manauli, Giani Gurmail Singh, Mr. Balwinder Singh, Mr. Manpreet Singh, Mr. Manjit Singh, Mr. Gurbhajan Singh and Pandit Chaman Lal.
