More than 1200 grievances and demands received during Jan Manch organised in eight districts

The Jan Manch programme was organised in eight districts of state today in which 1218 demands and complaints were received. Jan Manch in Mandi district would be organised on 16 February and in Kangra district on 19 February.Prior to todays Jan Manch,  157 Jan Manch have been organised in the state benefitting people of 1330 Gram Panchayats. During this period 46801 complaints and demands were received out of which 42730 have been redressed.  About 8000 families have been benefitted under Beti Hai Anmol scheme through Jan Manch in the state. In addition to this 6,74,013 digital ration cards were distributed and 73,501 families were given benefit under Himachal Grihini Suvidha Yojna.  During this period 1,98,331 Jan Dhan accounts were opened, 51,186 pregnant women were registered and vaccinated, social security pension was given to 2,42,756 eligible beneficiaries,  general health check up of 70,337 people was done and 8363 mutations were registered besides issuing 46038 different certificates.Jal Shakti Minister Mahender Singh Thakur presided over Jan Manch at  Palakwah of Haroli Vidhan Sabha Constituency in Una district. He said that 90 percent of complaints and demands received in the Jan Manch programmes organised till date have been redressed. He said that programme is inspiring the officers to work with more efficiency and transparency and people also need not to visit the offices time and again.He said that a large number of irrigation scheme are under consideration for Una district.  He said water from Pong dam would be supplied to Una district to benefit the farmers.During this  Jan Manch  66 complaints and demands were presented by the people.Education Minister Suresh Bhardwaj presided over the Jan Manch at gram panchayat Ashiyadi in Shillai Assembly constituency of Sirmour district. On this occasion 133 demands and complaints were received out of which most of complaints were disposed off on the spot.Education Minister said that present state government has appointed 7300 teachers during last two years. He directed the Deputy Commissioner for reviewing the complaints redressed during the programme to ensure that replies given by officers on spot were being implemented in the field.MLA Harsh Vardhan Chauhan and Chairman Civil Supplies Corporation Baldev Tomer was also present on the occasion.Jan Manch was organised in Bagheri of Nalagarh Assembly Constituency in district Solan which was presided over by Urban Development Minister Sarveen Chaudhary. She urged the people to present their complaints instead of demands during this programme as various modes have been started by the state government to address their demands. She launched the TB free Himachal App of the Health Department on this occasion.As many as 185 demands and complaints were received during the Jan Manch.

District Kullu

While presiding over the programme at Shat in Kullu sub division Agriculture Minister Dr. Ram Lal Markanda said that 4.55 crore would be spent on construction of Shat market yard in Manikaran Valley. This would provide facility to the farmers of the area to get remunerative prices of their products near their homes. He said that Rs. 3.50 crore have been released to provide subsidy on farming tools the farmers of Kullu district.In all, 101 demands and complaints were presented during the programme.MLA Sunder Singh Thakur, former MP Maheshwar Singh and HPMC Vice-Chairman Ram Singh also present in the programme.Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Virender Kanwar presided over the programme organised at Bharari under Ghumarwi Vidhan Sabha area of Bilaspur District. He informed that the panchayats of the state have been directed to spend funds by 31st March, 2020 under the 14th Finance Commission. He said that the grant of Himachal Pradesh has been sanctioned for 15th Finance Commission.He said that the registration of milching cattle under National Gokul Mission has been started. He said that artificial insemination facility was being provided to people under the scheme at their door steps.As many as 216 applications were received during the programme and people were also issued various kinds of certificates.MLA Rajender Garg was also present on the occasion.Industry Minister Bikram Singh directed the State Building and Other Construction Workers Board to organise awareness campaign within a month in Chamba district. He was presiding over the Jan Manch organised at Bhelai in Dalhousie Vidhan Sabha Area of district Chamba.

During the programme, issues faced by people due to reservoir of Hydro electricity project of National Hydro Power Corporation were also raised during the occasion. Minister directed the Deputy Commissioner Chamba to organise a meeting with the concerned authorities and local public representatives, to resolve the issues. He directed the officers of Agriculture department to complete the formalities for construction of sub market yard at Telka.As many as 140 demands and public grievances were received during the occasion, and most of which were redressed on the spot.MLAs Vikram Jarial and Pawan Nair were also present on the occasion.Forest and Transportation Minister Govind Singh Thakur presided over the Jan Manch programme organised at Jhakri of Rampur Bushahr area in district Shimla. During the programme 58 public grievances were received out of which 42 were redressed on the spot.   He presented fixed deposit to ten girl child under 'Beti Hai Anmol" yojna. During the programme free health check up camp was organised and disability certificate, other revenue related documents were also provided to the people.Local MLA Nand Lal was also present on the occasion.Chief Whip and State Observer of Jan Manch programme Narender Bragta presided over the programme organised at Ambehdi of Gram Panchayat Tippar in Badsar Vidhan Sabha area of Hamirpur district. As many as 118 complaints and 201 demands were received and almost 85 percent complaints were redressed on the spot. He said that the Jan Manch was also being monitored at the level of Chief Secretary.An awareness campaign regarding cyber crime was also provided by the Police Department on the occasion.
